Process
How It Works
A simple, honest scheduling process — with no confirmation until the appointment is genuinely on the schedule.
Six steps
1. Tell the assistant what's happening
The Dr. Handy Assistant collects your name, phone, email, service needed, address and city, job details, urgency, and your preferred date and time.
2. Live availability is checked
Before anything is promised, the assistant checks the central schedule for the time you asked for.
3. Verified alternatives if there's a conflict
If your time is taken, you'll only be offered slots that were confirmed open — never a guess.
4. Confirmation only after booking succeeds
You see a confirmation only once the appointment is actually created in the central schedule. If anything fails, we say so plainly and give you the phone number.
5. Dispatch follows up
Your request is routed to Dr. Handyman Service reception and dispatch, who confirm details and arrival window.
6. Diagnosis, then work
On site we confirm the symptom, test the circuit, explain what we find, and complete the agreed work.
What happens if something goes wrong
If the scheduling system cannot be reached, the assistant will tell you clearly that nothing was booked and show a needs-attention message with our phone number. We would rather send you to a person than leave you believing an appointment exists when it does not.
Ready when you are
Start with the Dr. Handy Assistant — it collects your details, checks live availability, and only confirms once the appointment is actually booked.
